RTC) How and when was the band born and the members, tell us the hystory of band
H45) The band was born in 2017. We all grew up together and played in different bands together throughout the years, but never all of us in the same lineup. The band just kind of happened one drunken night while talking and a few weeks later we were writing songs.

RTC) How can we call your style of playing? which are your musical influences?
H45) We are Texas Oi! Our musical influences vary quite a bit, especially individually. Our sound as a whole is how we stuff all of those sounds into one box. There are influences of rock and roll, blues, folk music, American hardcore and, of course, punk. What comes out is Hooligan 45.
RTC) What are your lyrics about? what do you stand for?
H45) Our lyrics are simply our story, and commitment to keep the flame lit. Every city, town, etc has their own history some of it good and some bad it’s important to remember where we came from, both personally and as a group. Being a subculture we share a common history and these songs or stories, are just pages in that larger book. If just one person listens to our music and it gets them through a tough time or reminds them of who they are and the pride they should feel then all the time doing this was worth it. As far as what we stand for ? I would say community, that goes for where we live to who we associate with. We are always stronger together. We all grew up that way, and still follow that ideal.
RTC) What's your favourite beer or alcoholic drink?
H45) It varies but Lone Star Light and good whiskey never let us down!!
RTC) Speak about the Oi! and Punk scene in your Area and Country
H45) There is a great scene throughout the state of Texas. A strong scene in Houston. The town where we live? We are the scene. It’s a small town.
RTC) Can you mention the most important gigs you did?
H45) Every gig we have been involved in is important to us. It’s always an opportunity for us to expand our family. We’ve been a part of some great ones!
RTC) Do you suggest us other bands in your country ?
H45) To many to list, but here’s a few Dog Company, Bullshit Detector, Storm of Ages, Liberty and Justice, Concrete Elite, The Booked, Strike First Fear City, Fuerza Bruta, Victory, Big Dog, Ultra Sect.. Just some of the stuff that stays in rotation!!
RTC) How much works (CD,LP Etc.) have you released ?
H45) We self released our Ep “Boots, Beer, and Oi!” in 2018 and a 2 song single “We Are One” in 2019. We put together a compilation “We’re Still Here”that was put out by KB Records in 2020 and are on several comps through Liberty or Death Records and 8 Up Records
RTC) Do you go to Stadium ? Which Team do you Support ?
H45) Houston Astros, Texans, Rockets, & Dynamo
RTC) Would you like to play in Italy? do you know italian Oi! and Punk scene ?
H45) We would love to play Italy!!! Unfortunately we don’t know a ton about your scene besides Nabat and Klasse Kriminale.
