abbiamo parlato con una delle Band storiche in Turchia, gli Ofisboyz, che ci raccontano attraverso questa intervista la loro storia, gli albori della scena nel loro Paese e tanto altro.
RTC) How and when was the band born and the members, tell us the hystory of band
OFB) Ofisboyz is one of the pioneers in the formation and culture of skinhead groups in the country . The band established in 2003 in Istanbul / Türkiye with 3 young fellas and still a part of Turkish punk scene

RTC) How can we call your style of playing? which are your musical influences?
OFB) We are trying to make a mixture of hardcore and Oi music. Thats why we are calling our style as Skinhead Hardcore. Our influences are early English Oi! Bands such as Cock Sparrer,Cockney Rejects,Business, early American HC bands like Warzone, and bands like Discipline.
RTC) What are your lyrics about? what do you stand for?
OFB) We are mentioning about street & football culture, political stuff, friendship, beers etc in our songs.
RTC) What's your favourite beer or alcoholic drink?
OFB) Unfortunately we dont have too many beer brands in Türkiye. Also Export beers are expensive . so we mostly consume Efes Pilsen or Tuborg. Not the favourite ones but at least affordable :)
RTC) Speak about the Oi! and Punk scene in your Area and Country
OFB) We dont have a big scene but scene is strong in my opinion. We have nice audience and good bands. Lots of big Oi-Punk bands come to play in İstanbul and mostly gigs are sold
out. I can say our scene is more energetic tha most of the Europe.
RTC) Can you mention the most important gigs you did?
OFB) We had chance to play in europe apart from gigs in Türkiye. We had a chance to play with famous and good bands around the globe such as Hardskin, Loikaemie, Total Chaos, Deez Nuts, Oi Polloi, The Young Ones, Jenny Woo, Disorder, Towerblocks and many more.
RTC) Do you suggest us other bands in your country ?
OFB) You may give a try to these bands : Radical Noise(HC), Die In Vain (UK82 Punk), Cebren (Oi!), The Ayılar (Oi!), Rotting System (Punk HC) , Reason Why (Punk)
RTC) How much works (CD,LP Etc.) have you released ?
OFB) We released an album in 2009 – Bosphorus Pride
An EP in 2018 – Back To The Roots
Two singles in 2020
And our early demos were released by Wargasm Records in 2017.
And we are going to release a new album at march 2025. Thats why we released a single from that album recently.
RTC) Do you go to Stadium ? is yes, which team you support ?
OFB) Yes me (the bass player) & the drummer go to stadium every game. We both support Besiktas. We are die hard fans :) But other members support other teams.
RTC) Would you like to play in Italy? do you know Italian scene ? what you think about it ?
OFB) Yeah sure. Playing Italy would be excellent for us. To be honest i dont know much about italian scene. Of course i know bands from Italy. Los Fastidios, Banda Bassotti, Klasse Kriminalle, Ashpipe etc. Also we played together with Italian HC band PAYBACK in germany(nürnberg and stuttgart) They were really good band. Dont know if they still play though. I personally went to Torino, Bologna nad Napoli (for napoli-besiktas champions leauge game. Besiktas won it 3-2 was a great game) but never had a chance to experience italian scene. So if one day it happens it will be great!
