in vista del loro Live del 7 Dicembre siamo riusciti a parlare insieme a Joe dei Rise Up e farci raccontare qualcosa di loro.
RTC) Oi! Joe, first of all, thank you very much for your fucking time. So, tell us the short story of the Band.
RU) First formed the band in 2020, with myself (Joe), Shaun, Jacko, Tommy and Max, the 4 members Shaun, Jacko, Tommy and Max moved on and then Cal, Tommo, CJ and josh moved in. Bringing a new sound to the band which we call rock and Oi! with our own twist, we have released one EP and 2 albums and we are all enjoying every single minute of it, we’ve gelled well.
RTC) Which are your Musical Influences ?
RU) The business, last resort, lions law, Motörhead, Iron Maiden and rancid.
RTC) How much works (CD,LP Etc.) have you released ?
RU) We have released one ep and 2 albums under Randale Records.
RTC) What are your songs about ?
RU) Day to day life, topical matters.
RTC) How is the Oi! Scene in your Country and in your Area ? What would that need to get better ?
RU) Our scene is dying in our nation rapidly, to make it better we need everyone to stick together and more of the younger generation to come through with more younger bands. (..RTC the same that in Italy....)
RTC) Do you go to Stadium ?
RU) I support the Port Vale F.C. but only Sometimes we go to football matches when we have the time.
RTC) Rise Up play to Real Oi! scene, but at the same time are you under Randale Records and you do as you like. Why you can do it and other Bands can't ?
RU) We just play music we’re a non political band. Doing what you want is the whole point of Punk and Oi! and not conforming.
RTC) Which is the best band you shared stage with ?
RU) Lions law, Cockney rejects and the last resort.
RTC) Your Favorite Beer or Alcoolic Drink
RU) Anything what gets you pissed. (..RTC.. we are agree with you mate.. LOL)
RTC) Which are your next project ahead ?
RU) You’ll have to wait and see.
